Research training in a centre of excellence

The Cooperative Research Centre for Oral Health Science offers PhD and Bachelor of Science Honours students the opportunity to undertake their research in state-of-the-art facilities under the guidance of senior researchers who are world leaders in their fields.

Students have the opportunity to work with industry, gain experience in transferring research into commercial outcomes, and to be part of a centre of excellence which is internationally recognised for its scientific contribution to addressing oral disease.

In the last year, a total of 44 research students worked in the CRC-OHS.

We welcome students from a number of disciplines, including microbiology, dentistry, biochemistry, epidemiology and biostatistics.

We offer scholarship support to high achieving students enrolled at The University of Melbourne or Monash University in Bachelor of Science Honours Degrees and Doctorates of Philosophy.
