The CRC for Oral Health Science has won an an award for Excellence in Innovation for its development of Tooth Mousse Plus.

 

The prize was awarded by the Cooperative Research Centres Association and presented to the CRC-OHS by the Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, Senator Kim Carr in May 2008.

 

Submissions to the award were judged by an independent panel comprising:

• Professor Vaughan Beck, Technical Director, Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.
• Professor Leon Mann, Director, Centre for R&D Leadership, University of Melbourne.
• Dr Greg Smith, Director, SciVentures Investment Pty Ltd.
• Dr Geoffrey Vaughan, Member of IR&D Board.
• Mr Wilson da Silva, Editor-in-Chief, Luna Media/Cosmos Magazine
